• UNICEF Thailand is seeking a qualified institution to establish long term agreement for procurement of emergency kits, packing services, distribution of supplies and warehouse services Background UNICEF's child rights mandate and Core Commitment for Children (CCCs), UNICEF commits to ensuring the fast delivery and distribution of appropriate supplies and relief items and of appropriate essential household items to affected populations, partners or point-of-use in a timely manner.Emergency management can be as a cycle, as shown below, that includes: 1) Preparedness (before and between emergencyevents) 2) Response (during disasters) 3) Recovery (in the longer term following an emergency event) and 4) Mitigation (between and during emergencies).Ensuring Long-Term Agreements (LTAS) are in place for emergency supplies is an essential as part of the country Emergency preparedness and responseplan. During emergencies, it is particularly important to be able to rely on LTAs for a quick response.In UNICEF Thailand, emergency preparedness and responses are now embedded within each Programme component of UNICEF Thailand Country Programme and at the onset of an emergency, it is expected thatUNICEF will respond with resources, which included the provision of emergency supplies which are kits etc. immediately at its disposal in the country. Objectives, Purposeand services which are:- Procure the items listed in Annex Eestablished for the duration of 2 years, with the option of additional extension of 2 years, subject to UNICEF requirements, satisfactory performance, and agreement of both contracting parties. The established LTAS will be time bound, without a monetary value or guaranteed offtake. For any assignments to be contracted under the established LTAS, all suitable LTAS holders will be contacted to confirm pricing and availability. Contract award will be made to the LTAS holder(s) who submitted the most suitable offer. Description of the assignment The selected service provider will be assigned to procure supplies and provide services for UNICEF as follows:- Procure the items listed in Annex Eand, UNICEF will confirm the items to be procured and services support as per TOR. The selected service provider will provide proven quality of supplies procurement services, packing, distribution and warehouses services.
