Description of requirements1. ESCAP is seeking expressions of interest from qualified manufacturers for the supply and door-to-door delivery of a sedan or SUV (PHEV or Full EV) and a passenger van (hybrid or traditional diesel/petrol) and their logistic support services (spare parts, warranty, training, etc), including the installation of a flagpole, throughout the vehicles' entire life.2. Brief explanation of each of the terms is as follows:a. Vehicle engines:i. Full Electric Vehicle (EV): by EV, ESCAP means vehicles that have a battery instead of a gasoline tank, and an electric motor instead of an internal combustion engine and is powered entirely by electricity from a battery that requires recharging.ii. Plug-in Hybrid EV (PHEV): by PHEV, ESCAP means vehicles that have a much bigger battery, an electric motor, a gasoline tank, and an internal combustion engine and are powered partially by electricity from a battery that requires recharging from and external source and powered partially by diesel/petrol that requires refueling. iii. Hybrid: by Hybrid, ESCAP means vehicles that have a smaller battery which cannot be plugged in to charge to an external source but instead, is char...
