Description: Over the years, issues related to the quality of data captured through the Global AIDS Monitoring (GAM) platform have been observed. However, these data quality issues have not yet been systematically examined to provide the necessary recommendations or implement the needed capacity building initiatives in support of country teams. Through better data quality, and data use, countries can step up their responses to reach the final mile of receding HIV epidemics or take the necessary steps to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.
