- Expression of Interest are invited for Technical Assistance to Improve Knowledge and Innovative Policy for Wildfire Reduction in Northern Thailand for Activity I: Wildfire Risk Map and Management Information System. Publication Date: 19-Jan-2023 Expression of Interest Deadline: 26-Jan-2023 ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: The objective of the project is to propose recommendations to increase the effectiveness of wildfire management, particularly in early warning systems and emergency response. The key output by proposing recommendations in a study for wildfire management by i) improving the accuracy of the wildfire risk map and the early warning system and ii) integrating DNP MIS information with other agencies MIS systems on wildfire reporting and emergency response in the 9 northern provinces (Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Payao, Phrae, Nan, Tak, and Maehongsorn).
